The Hardy Plant Society of Oregon is a non-profit volunteer organization for beginning, experienced, amateur and professional gardeners. Founded in 1985 and dedicated to the promotion of hardy herbaceous perennials, the society now has nearly 2,000 members throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
HPSO provides a wide variety of activities and benefits to its members including:
- Monthly newsletter and twice annual Bulletin of interesting articles and news.
- Program slide lectures featuring prominent national and local horticultural speakers.
- Plant sales are held twice a year with over 70 participating growers from all over the Northwest.
